Mystery Miles: A Dice Run

FAQ

  • This race will be anywhere between 3 miles and 9 miles (all of it “ish” because, well, making loops is tricky).

  • A d4 is shorthand for a 4-sided die.

  • Four-sided dice gives us the best range of numbers without making the race ridiculously long. We could have used the traditional six-sided dice, but then you could end up running up to 13+ miles (a half-marathon)!

  • Now you’re talking my language.

    3 laps = 6.25%

    4 laps = 12.50%

    5 laps = 18.75%

    6 laps = 25%

    7 laps = 18.75%

    8 laps = 12.50%

    9 laps = 6.25%

  • If you want to earn a finisher’s award, then YES you do.
